Housebuilders fear delays to planning from localism
A survey by real estate consultancy Knight Frank suggests there is genuine fear from housebuilders that the government’s localism proposals will lead to delays in the planning process and suggests there is real uncertainty over the system. It also suggests that the sector fears localism will lead to further difficulty in interacting with local authorities.
